Anyone catch this amazing show? I love a good zombie movie & this is perhaps the best one ever! The first show rocked my world! Especially the ending. The entire show was good but most of the show was lite on action. It builds up in an epic way indeed! Catch this show guys! Its the beginning of something special!

I'm super excited for the show. I've only started reading the comic in the last year, but I'm all caught up and current now. I'm looking forward to see how far AMC takes the show. Clearly there are already differences, but I think they make the story BETTER (so far anyways, not sure about this Lori/Shane thing). Sure the first episode started slow, but they needed to set it all up. :)

I am not sure if I want to read the graphic novels before I watch the show as I like to be surprised by the series. The way they pulled off the 1st show was really popping! I have read in reviews by people who have read the books to not get attached to anyone because no one is safe. That is actually a little more than I wanted to know because now I am thinking the main characters are gonna get zombiefied! Spoilers suck butt!

Any of you guys who found it on the net taken the time to watch it yet? If not you MUST set aside 45 minutes to be blown...away! The story is outstanding. The set up is impeccable. The execution & pacing is award worthy & if you miss this show I shall laugh at you & ridicule you behind your back & in PM's to other board members for being such a complete dumbass!

My two sons and I walked into a book store a few weeks back and they saw a big display of zombie books, including a bunch of The Walking Dead graphic novels. I bought them a few issues and they are HOOKED. HOOKED, I tell you! Jeez! Now it's like a scavenger hunt. Our local book store doesn't have all of the issues. First we had to go hunting #3. We finally found it. Then we had a really hard time finding #5, but finally got that one. I also got a copy of the first season TV show DVD and it was very well done. Me like! Almost makes me want to pay $40 a month to get cable or satellite just so I can watch season 2 as it comes out. Almost.

On a side note, where the hell is Mels?
