Something odd about WinXp

Can someone explain this to me? I make a search for a file. A certain number of users pop up with the file. I start a transfer from a user on cable.

I make the same search for the same file again and this time the user does not appear in the list of people with the file. But he hasn't disconnected since the transfer I originally started from him when I found him the first time I searched for the file is still going... So why is he not appearing in my new search?!?

i'm not absolutely sure, but i think winmx uses a kind of random search thing... like you want "eminem", and it looks for users with the file, but never hits the same user 2x, bc the first search might not have had what you wanted.

He should show up in Blue, if he is still online...
I think what happens is, that he set it to shutdown after Transfers are complete.
This way it finishes your transfer without others being started.
But I'm not sure this is true.It's JMO from what I've seen myself.
