Anyone else get this message when using kazaa ++ 2.02??? I keep having it pop up from time to time, but it doesn't seem to affect my downloads! It just pops up right out of the blue, then I click "OK" and it goes away! I have never had this message come up in other kazaa programs I have used in the past. For the most part, kazaa ++ 2.02 is like a dream come true! I can get tons of scources and great downloads! I was just wondering if this message is common in kazaa ++ 2.02 or if it is on my end???

Sounds like you have the auto search more feature cranked up just a bit too high, turn that sucker down a little and you will be alright.
I will spare you the technical explanations LOL

I agree, it happens to me to when I put the autosearch on fast. The only downside that I have seen is that knocks out the ppl that are uploading for few seconds everytime. If it becomes too much a pain you can click autosearch icon in systray and select "slow stop".

Never had the problem. But what is that autosearch you're talking about? Is that the speed up tool? Or is it something else?

autosearch is included with k++. after u click the search now button in kazaa, and the search results have all been returned, the button changes to a search more buttton, which keeps the existing results but just adds to them by searching other supernodes. autosearchmore automates this task but making it appear that u are pressing the search more button, thereby getting u infinitely more search results. the highest i have had is 7504 but it takes ages to scroll through them all.

It just lets you search while your away from the computer for more sources without clicking on search page button (i guess it is a speed up).
Its been really useful when d/l larger video files by constantly searching for more sources.

I must be using an older version of this program (Autosearch) because I use it too, but I never have seen a slow or fast on it. I have seen just the tray icon and it's menu. I've gotten 13000+ results for something I searched for the other day, I don't remember what it was. I like the autosearch program, it does save me clicks.

if u double click the System tray icon a little box pops up on mine. that's where u configure fast/slow etc.

Just to clear things up about the AutoSearchMore tool. It is a simple tool that automatically searches more files for you until you say stop so you don't have to keep on clicking 'Search More' manually. A brief description of 'Fast Stop' & 'Slow Stop':
Fast Stop -
this stops the search immediately without finishing the current search its doing
Slow Stop -
This stops the search after it finishes the current search
Just remember that running the AutoSearchMore tool for longer than a couple of minutes can be a real waste of bandwith. Both of yours and that of the supernodes.
As far as the 'KaZaA is not connected' situation, the developer will try & fix that on his next version.

I am sure glad that the developer of this program is listening to his audience. I think it is great to finally have someone on our side for a change, as opposed to sharman networks, who really is out for themselves! If they were not, they would not force users of their software to be subjected to so much adware and spyware!
