how does winmx multi download really work?

Is is similiar to Flashget , getright ?
Maybe If a File has 100 packets of data 'multi download' get differend packets from differen users and then it join them.
right?

In a sense, but the files are broken into small chunks , this way they are very close to sequential order.

also i have noticed that if u r dling an incomplete file from a user who is finishing it as u r dling it...if u catch up to them in proccess, it can slow down your dl and their proccess also. Keep an eye out for that. It seems to slow all your other sources. Will only take it as other sources complete their part.
