monster speakers

I want to upgrade my speakers this summer. Anyone out there have a set of monsters to recomend. Hopefully the mods will not see this as ads. 5 piece? 3 piece? quality that has the capacity to move walls without breaking up in the box. powered, of course, it would be nice if you could plug in a external mp3 or cd player and play to the speakers without going through the comp.

thanks Sephiroth the Tom's link is really cool and there user reviews were helpful. I still have some more products to look up and then I will post my findiings here. Does anyone out there have a set of speakers that they are proud of. I can not believe some of you guys that have 30 gigs of music are running them through tiny 20 dollar tin cans.
