I'm curious as to what are some more recent games that are free, as in, Give me a free beer. be it through some weird deal on direct2drive or a free MMO, or whatever.

I feel like its difficult to weed through everything. I'm curious as to what's new though (IE, yes enemy territory IS awesome. I'm aware.)

haha yeah I know. I'm SUPER FRUSTRATED about Operation flashpoint 2 because my gaming computer got stolen so I can't play any new games and that's literally the only damn game I care to play on pc right now lol

And if you care, A great fan project, Kings Quest 9 Silver Lining was kill by Activision. The team had a fan license with Ubisoft, Activision bought the rights and shut them down after 8 years of work.

i've been playing battlefield heroes (http://www.battlefieldheroes.com) recently, and it's a half decent game. friendly community, and surprisingly good game play. highly recommended for a free online shooter
