Klient is an Internet Relay Chat client for Windows. It allows you to connect to IRC servers to chat with people on channels or in private. Klient features a modern customizable interface, multiple server support, highly robust scripting, external .dll support, and some more features.

I'm downloading it now Sockfulloflove, will report my findings when I test it out. Nice to see developers haven't given up trying to dethrone mIRC.

Let me first start off by saying this was alot better than I thought. It has many features that mIRC has and more.. but alot of them are useless or just plain stupid things you can make on mIRC if you can script.
The gui isn't all that great.. reminds me of early versions of mIRC with an "XP" look. Alot of the program is a BLATANT RIPOFF of mIRC and the subpar client BersIRC (not a good program btw).
The controls of things don't feel natural and are in strange places. It took me almost 10 minutes just to figure out how to add a NEW network. Once I did that it connected pretty quickly.
Now for the juicy part, the scripting capabilities. The developer boasts it is a "full featured client with scripting capibilities" and it does. You just have to figure out how the hell to use them. When I tried to add aliases, I could not figure out how to save the file and use the damn alias I made. Popups (a scripting "section" in mIRC) are there but again I have no idea how to add to it. I have no idea what-so-ever how to enter (hell I couldn't even FIND it, let alone enter things into it) new remotes (the best part)... I have looked everywhere to no avail. Maybe I am just used to the feel of mIRC... but this "Klient" feels out of touch with the way I (and alot of others) use IRC.
Maybe I am just being too hard on it.. or maybe I do not know what I am talking about.. but these are my observations. Yours could differ greatly.
Nice program, but confusing as hell and lacking alot.
