Have any of you seen this film (Donnie Darko)?? I have recently seen it and it is VERY good, it is a film where at the end you have to think about it a lot to actualy understand it because it is quite mind boggling.
If any of you have watched it, did you like it and understand it?

It is one of the best movies of last year compared to some of the crap that has been released in the cinema, but its not for everyone.

Anyone watch S Darko (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1231277/) yet? I started watching a bit this morning just to see what I saw. I know its gonna suck but hope it does not. Why? Why why why! My curiosity makes me watch it although I know I should not probably. I hear some Darko fans are mad about this film and I am A Darko! Oh well...here goes nothing!

I was just reading the summary of the plot and it might be a good flick to watch this weekend.

DId you like the first one? I am a HUGE fan of the 1st and its sad that they gave us this POS. They should of at least waited until the original director and writer were ready to advance the story. Hopefully this straight to dvd release will be forgotten about in a few years.
BTW, I watched Southland tales again the other night. Such a strange story and I can't figure out why I like it...but I do. The comedy is so sly it keeps me laughing the whole time...because I am a PIMP!

Love the first one Mels. For the sequel they got C. Fisher who really is not known that much. I did some research and it appears he several tv episodes and some serial killer movies. N.Atkins the writer is best known as assistant sound editor in Toolbox Murders.I'll probably watch it tomorrow night and give you my honest opinion.

Hasn't the sequel been discussed for a while? It finally came out though huh? Straight to DVD? SOUNDS PROMISING.

Tried to find a thread about it. BLUH! It finally came out this week and its can eat a turd. Eating a turd would be better than this movie! Actually...I have not watched more than 5 minutes yet but that 5 minutes left the taste of doodoo in my mouth. I may O.D. on pooh if I watch the whole thing

That's a stellar review...
My friend said there was a deal somewhere and she HAD to buy the movie to get another free or something weird like that.
