What was your favorite movie for 09'? What was the worst?
I loved District 9, Avatar was awesome, and The Hangover was a great no brainer comedy.
The only one from last year that really sticks in my head as being somewhat disappointing was Watchmen. I was really looking forward to it and it sucked huge sweaty balls. I'm sure there are more.

Curious...it's funny how peoples tastes vary so much. Considering all the hype, I didn't much care for Inglorious Basterds either, which most people raved about.

My picks are: The Road, Star Trek, Inglorious Basterds and The Hurt Locker. District 9 was ok but it was hard to like. I thought Avatar was absolute garbage. Zombieland was fun.

I LOVE Zombieland! Adventureland was great too. Coraline was AMAZING and in 3D I shat in my pants TWICE! LOVED IT! STar Trek was an awesome ride! Moon was interesting! Watchmen DC was NICE!!! Inglorious Basterds was an involving very ADULT movie and I want QT to go ahead and film Kill Bill Vol. 3!!! Observe and Report is a strange yet lovable film for me. Eat me! I still have lots of films to watch. Some of the later movies like Avatar and District 9 are still sitting on my PC unwatched. I know I am forgetting some shits...
EDIT: Oh yeah...was Tropic Thunder this year?I liked that dumb movie one hell of a lot!
The worst movie IMO can only go to ONE film ------ LAND OF THE LOST!! Its so bad I actually saw little kids crying wanting their money back and one freak took two pencils and placed the pointy end up to his eyes and head butted the chair in front of himself!! Its that freggin bad! UGHHHZZZZ! made me 20 year wait worth it! The extended home version is MUCH better IMO! I changed my mind about Funny People and find it very good now. I LOVED
