Kazaa freezes after a while

I'm using Kazaa Lite and, after a minute or two, it freezes. No response to mouse clicks, no updating on screen, no downloads...
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now I downloaded the new K++, but no luck :(
What could be wrong?

Are you running XP? if so, right click on the shortcut on your desktop and hit properties, flip over to the compatibilty tab, and place a checkmark in "run this program in compatibilty mode for:" and chose Windows 98 / Me

you also could be trying to share to many files, try deleting or moving some files out of My Share Folder, it may help... but this is all the advice i can give you on the information that you give.

i were sharing almost 3k files, now about 200. and i also deleted all pending downloads. now it works ok!
