Just asking,iīm kinda new using eMule and I donīt think itīs working smoothly.Download speedīs are something like 1-5kt\s although I have cable modem. If I use imesh or kazaa, speed comes up to 20 kt\s.Can I somehow configure my eMule that it downloads faster?

where it says connection, put 20
where it says download limit put 5, where is says acctual download put 0.
where it says upload limit put 3 and where it says acctual upload put 0.
all the setting are under prefrences.

emule can take a while to get going. connect to a server, start your downloads, then check it 30 minutes later. you should see your download speeds gradually increasing, that is, if youre downloading reasonably popuar files. Check the download statistics graph too, you should this gradually rising

u might wanna try either k++ or winMX. winmx is v. gd for mp3s but the queues are usually quite large. k++ is gd as long as u specifiy the search for mp3s of 192kbs or above.
