It just occurred to me, if in KaZaA++ it gives everyone a PL level of 1000 Supreme Being, but then when you download something, as you can clearly see in your uploads, it gives everyone a PL level of Deity 666, doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of being a Supreme Being in the first place?

Well, thats the idea, the participation level is unfair, the more people that use K++ 2.0, the fair'er the system will be

It doesnt hurt you any, and it makes anybody waiting in line for your files "equal" to, or at least in your queue

Sorry that was my fault, I worded my question wierd, I ment to say:

When you download everyone is set to 666, so doesn;t that sorta defeat the purpose of you being 1000 because you're gonna be 666 when you d/l, not 1000. I'm not sure if thats a better way of wording it, lol, but I get it .

Ahhh, that makes some sense

What are the chances you will run into another K++ user for a while? The program is still a baby, heck, 98% of FT users have never heard of k-lite (a rough guess on my part)

IF by chance you do, then yes, it does defeat the purpose, but most of the comunity still uses good ole Kazaa

good point phalkon, MANY people don't even know about k-lite or don't care. so if they don't know about k-lite, most of them won't know about k++.

just kinda rewording what was previously mentioned...
it only defeats the purpose if you d/l from a SINGLE KAZAA++ 2.0 user b/c most of the time (unless the file is rare), you'll have multiple d/l sources and the chances of all of them being Kazaa++ 2.0 users are slim to none.
