I have a RCA Lyra 1070 (the real compact one), and when I plug in the player to the USB port, and it begins to auto-install the hardware, I get the blue error message screen everytime. I e-mailed RCA but obviously they aren't going to reply anytime soon. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I've been planning on changing my OS to either Win2000 or XP, since ME is worthless, error-ridden garbage. Which is the more stable of the two?

when it starts up let it finish or if you get the error than continue going through with it. when i first plugged either of them it auto loaded the software but it didnt give me any errors. after this had finished i inserted the rca cd then i installed all their software so far it works fine with musicmatch, sorry but i cant give much help on this.(I also have windows me, it sucks)

I installed the RCA cd before I plugged in the player, don't know if this would cause the problem or not, I doubt it.
