With K++ you can right click a file that's downloading and "Find More Sources For Download" every 4 minutes, and I guess this is what the Fast Track Accelerator / Speed Up does automatically every 4 minutes, but I've found that the "Find More Sources For Download" doesn't work nearly as good as just manually doing a search for the file you're downloading, and run AutoSearchMore.

Whenever you find a new user on the search page, you'll notice that on the traffic page that user has also been added to your download. No need to wait 4 minutes when you can manually "Find More Sources For Download" just by continuing to Search. I personally haven't had much success with the "Find More Sources" function.

in grokster 1.6 the find more sources function was gd as it redisplayed all users who had that file and tried to reconnect to them. in k++ though this seems to do nothing. as for AutoSearchMore that's defintely the best way to find extra sources for a rare file.

Whatever works for you to Find More Sources, go for it. What the FastTrack Accelerator/Speed Up Tool was designed for was so you don't have to manually right-click on the file to find more sources. It does it for you automatically. You can configure the settings for the FastTrack Accelerator so it's not every 4 min. by right-clicking on it & set it up the way you want it to be.

I guess Speed Up is good for when you're downloading something big while you're away from your computer, if the "Find More Sources" really works that is...

What's the best way to configure the settings?

i've left AutoSearchMore running for 30mins sometimes and nothing bad has happened as of yet. don't know how many times it did Search more though.

You search more one too many times, and you get disconnected. But you are able to reconnect immediately after.

Its a program that comes with K++. If you have K++ look in your KaZaA Lite folder...
