Partial downloads w/ .18

I'm not going to be on my computer that has .16 again until next week.before I get home I'd like to know ---am I going to lose all my partial downloads again when I upgrade?

this is the shareaza forum, i assume she means when upgrading to the latest version. and to answer your question: it shouldn't. but it couldn't hurt to back them up to a separate folder when you install.

Make sure Shareaza is shut down before installing the upgrade and you shouldn't lose anything.

Well Viet-it's comforting to know that all the negative stereotypes about New Yorkers remain unchallenged.Thanks for the reassurance on that one.You would just think in a city with that many people some intelligent form of life would evolve eventually.OK-real slow -this is a forum.The topic is Gnutella file sharing,specifically Shareza.Therefore the .18 either relates to that or your IQ or quite possibly both.
CPGenius-I've upgraded from 1.5 to 1.6 to 1.7.09 to 1.7.16 and have tried to save the incompletes in a seperate folder and slip it back into the upgraded folder a few times without any luck.Mike did reply to an email I sent on it,but I didn't have time to follow up on it(I was actually kind of pleasantly surprised he answered )and lost my chance to get the info straight from the man himself.BTW-I am a dude.
Phil-I can't remember if I had Shareza shut down or not during previous upgrades,but I have a feeling I didn't.'
I only have a few incompletes this time ,so I'm more curious than anything,not much to lose.I just want to figure out what I've been doing wrong,if anything.
