Who here is a fan like me? I am reaching out to any of you peeps who LOVE this show like I do. Its the best thing I have ever seen, period. Of course it must be said that a person HAS to start watching from season 1 and not miss a single episode or they will miss vital parts of a very complex and well written story line that branches out like and evil tree on miracle grow. I have been dieing inside for the start of season 4 ever since season 3 left off with all those shocking loose ends and such! Its been killing me! Well that first epi of season 4 did not disappoint one bit and I had to watch it twice to take in all the information offered up in the 22 minute show. Most confusing up until the last 2 minutes! GREAT GREAT GREAT! This show is slowly becoming a masterpiece of epic proportions! It should not be missed people! If you have missed it grab all 3 seasons and sit down and get ready to have your socks blown off! Thats how I got introduced to the show after avoiding it for years. I thought I would HATE it. How wrong could I be? Its WAY better than Dexter could ever hope to be!!!! You read that right! Of course you have to be well schooled in pop culture or you might think it to be stupid.

Oh, BTW. I just found out the episode got screwed up on the West coast by adult swim so the show is being streamed on their site right HERE (http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a250aae246c5f5101246d2e25210004) ENJOY! I wondered why only one silly torrent showed up for the show when SOOOOOO many fans have been slobbering for the show for a year now! The one torrent offered up is okay quality but not high def. It looks really good though.

There is a new version of the first episode of season 4 out on torrent sites... DONT DOWNLOAD!

I think the other version out for download is actually the streaming video ripped to divx. Not good quality but okay, it will do until an HD version is released next week.

Got all the other seasons and just watched this years starting episode on my Direct TV DVR yesterday.

My only concern is I hope the show does not get to serious and lose its Johnny Quest type satire.
They had sure as hell had better not have written out the Monarch most of all.
I use to get my files from Demonoid but they are still down with no report of coming up anytime soon.

Also glad to see you back Mel. It does look though that Poot has taken off for parts unknown.

Pooter needed a break as well did I. I will still not be here much but perhaps a little more often soon as my schedule is slowing up a bunch!!!! I am so happy now!!!!!!! I hope I can lite a fire at ZP when I get a chance because the political drivel I see here most often is very depressing. Surely there has to be something else to talk about other than Odramaboma!!!???


I hear the NEXT show [ Venture Bros ] will concentrate on the Monarch so rest assured, he will be around...a lot! The " you don't know DICK " ending of the first show has me completely confused and the show needed a repete viewing to figure out many things. One thing is for sure, the team has NOT lost any of their writing skills! The show continues to shock and amaze and is slowly becoming a legendary cartoon tale. I am a total geek boy fanatic over team Venture! GO!!!!!

Yeah, this season MUST be watched from the beggining and in order or you will be completely lost. Lots of new characters are being introduced and the boys are getting older too. I really wish they would show more of what Brock is up too because so far very little is known about his new quest and the resurection on a certain character, sort of, who was thought to have changed over. Lots of stuff going on and its almost too much but that is always what makes this show so good. It takes a real story MASTER to weave a tale this complex and not screw it up.

I am just getting caught up myself. I like to let a few shows get past me and then watch them all at once. I can follow the show much better if I digest them all at once. Get crackin' EMM, the show is up to episode 6 already. :eek:

He quit at the end of season 3 and now he has temporarily, he has said he may come back one day, teamed up with an old friend ( I do not want to give it away if you don't know DICK! ) to get his new team started. I have no idea what his new mission is with them and so far they have not let on to what it may be, so we all don't know DICK! I can not wait to find out though.

It took me awhile to figure out whos voice Brock's was but then it hit me over the head when watching Men in Black 2. I hate when I hear his voice on other cartoons like Family Guy because I always want that voice to be Brock's. I have such a man crush on Brock Samson!!!

Glad to see the Monarch is back and as big a dick weed as ever. Hope they bring henchman #24 back to life as well.
In my book "Action Johnny" ( The Johnny Quest Satire character) is becoming a more regular plot point and Is finaly getting some over due recognition and air time.

I can't believe they really killed 24 off but it looks like he may be gone for good. It has let 21 grow some as a supporting character. I figure 21 will use the death of 24 as a catalyst to become a real bad guy instead of a henchmen.


I LOVED the way 21 and 24 had a great friendship in the midst of all the chaos and usually just kicked back while all the other were getting themselves killed by Brock. Maybe 21's HEAD will make it back some day...as that was all that was left of him. SAD!

The writers of the show have insisted in Comicon interviews that there will be no new cloning going on. I don't know if they mean for this season or ever. Their answers always seem kinda misleading when re-read after the facts so we will have to wait and see...

Thats another reason I like to let a few shows build up and then watch them. The WAITING KILLS ME! This is a tough show to wait for because its so good. I can't believe the show isnt a giant hit but I am SURE it will be some day. Everyone will be wearing the Tee shirt and all. There will be a series of blockbuster live action films...maybe a CGI version would be cool? ARGHHHHH! This show is the SHIZ!!!!

Okay guys...Im sad and I do not mind saying I think I might cry.


Season 4 is OVER! I want to say WTF over and over but I do not know WTF good that would do. Someone wrote in on the IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417373/) page of Venture Bros why the season ended early and why there was no Brock in season 4 either but since I am NOT a member anymore I can not read it. If anyone here is an IMDB member please read it and bring the info here because I am having trouble finding out why the show is over so soon and why they seem to be writing off characters like Brock and Triana. 7 shows is just SHITTY! Yes I am glad to get this small offering but it has been VERY unsatisfying...mainly because I thought Brock would be coming back and have a good story to tell about Hunter and his "DICK" but NoOoOoOoOo! Nothing. So disappointing after waiting so long.


If any of you guys have any news on why the show seems to have died I would LOVE to hear it.

The season is still good but there are lots of changes, not a bad thing, and its not as bad as I made it sound. I am just unhappy because its so short but I have dug up some info...

The fourth season was meant to be be split in two all along. We will get EIGHT shows up front with EIGHT more to follow up later. Doc said they did this so the fans would NOT have to wait another year before getting any new shows because it is taking them a long time to produce season 4. Thats actually pretty cool I guess. Brock WILL BE BACK. Thats good news. I found this...

Not much to say. Too busy. Doc and I are about to finish our collaborative script for the finale of season 4.2 and I'm literally on my way out the door to the final sound mix for the last episode of season 4.1.

As such I will soon be blessedly free from writing and post-production duties for a while. Looking forward to just being a director for the next several months--still a difficult, full-time job, but at least it's not three difficult, full-time jobs on top of each other.

I did want to say that tonight's episode is really really good, though. Probably my favorite of Doc's scripts in these first eight episodes. Much to enjoy in it, on the biggest and smallest of scales. And if you're not finally converted to Sgt. Hatred by this one, then you're never ever going to like the poor lug.

P.S. Two small items my perusal of various message boards these past few weeks compels me to comment upon:

1. Captain Sunshine = NOT an actual pedophile.

2. Brock's absence has nothing to do with Patrick Warburton. He didn't ask for more money, he's not too busy for us, he hasn't refused to come back or anything of the sort. It was a creative choice on our part, and Brock WILL be back in the show at some point. Just not this week. Or next.

Speaking of the writing on the show, it just amazes me sometimes. There was the scene with Monarch and Dr Girlfriend eating dinner and I was just cracking up at everything they were saying. What was so strange about that was there was no punchlines: they were just having a normal conversation that was down-right hysterical. As much as it sucks waiting for more episodes, my hat is off to them. They haven't let me down with their writing yet, and if they need time to make it awesome, then let them.
