GOP leaders were celebrating on Saturday the end to the "destructive" policy that has kept Senior Citizens in the dark.
The eleven million American seniors on Medicare Advantage (plans that cover what Medicare doesn’t) deserve to know that they stand to have their benefits slashed under the Obama Plan with the $500 Billion in cuts to Medicare the Democrats are pushing.
It is shameful that the Obama Administration would have ever ordered to keep these seniors in the dark when their health coverage is on the chopping block in Washington.
In the face of allegations it was trampling on free speech and merely trying to stamp out dissent, the Obama Administration has closed its investigation of a major insurance company for allegedly trying to scare seniors with a mailer warning they could lose important benefits under President Obama's health reform plan.
More than 40 GOP lawmakers petitioned the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services in a letter to stop "misusing its regulatory powers” to influence the Healthcare debate.
As the American people demand the straight facts about how they will be affected, we will continue to shine a light on the destructive policies for which this administration advocates.
