winmx - no results

am using winmx 3.31 - connects fine, get the green light to search and download, but nothing appears in the results window when I search...eternally blank. Obviously a configuration problem, but setup says I am ready to go...able to receive udp and tcp packets. Everything seems good.

any ideas? thanx

Are you on broadband or dialup ?

Do you use a firewall?

Are you a Primary, or Secondary connection?

When you search, are you selecting a criteria, like "Mp3" and any speed?

Try this, type in divx, then, click video, then search.

report back.

Also go to settings,search,then click on what media you want to search for,and for instance if its video make sure its searching for asf avi mpg mpeg.This is the most common setting people muck up
