G'Day All from a new member and a Q.

This place looks busy and that is great to see. I am relatively new to PC downloading and this looks like the place to learn. My Q. is ( I have a son overseas and he plays Diablo2, he wants me to join him on-line with this game) how do I go about finding Diablo2 as there is more bells and whistles in here than I can cope with as yet. lol
I will get there sooner than later but for now HELP!!!!!!!!

Assuming you have no software whatsoever for downloading, I would suggest K++2.0 from www.k-lite.tk , it has great features for a beginer, or even advanced P2P user, and also has a vast amount of content at pretty decent speeds

Now, if you want a game such as D2, then I would suggest getting it off of a Sig2dat quicklink, the program you need comes with K++ or K-lite, it allows you to click a link in a web page, and have it download in kazaa

Unfortunately, the only Sig2dat link I can find is for the expansion, you could do a search for the game, and take a HUGE risk by downloading an unknown file, or just hope somebody has a verified link to the game

There is a file link on Sharereactor.com for Diablo II, but you'll need eDonkey or eMule p2p client to use the file link!

You have to buy it the easiest way would be to get the diablo 2 battle chest which has diablo 2 and the expansion and that i got on sale a long time ago for 30 bucks..

You cannot download it and play it online.

Yea... mostly all online Blizzard games you have to pay to play online. The money's worth it though! Although they do become addicting after awhile.

Starcraft: Broodwar

I think that Lord of Destruction ruined the Diablo experience. There should have been a fresh restart of characters and items instead of everyone upgrading their SOJ duped accounts. It would have made for a better gaming experience.

Warcraft III is a good game except it seems to get old very fast. I find that playing UMS after awhile is the only way to play a fun game.

Actually, its my understanding that you just cant play with the same key as somebody else online, so just use a keygen

But seph is right, if you just buy it, its a lot less hassle, and its pretty inexpensive considering the amount of playtime and enjoyment you get out of it, this is really a great game

G'day All, being new to this I proceeded with gusto as instructed and I now have a 135mb shareware version of Diablo2 and what should I do with it. Practice I suppose I'm going need it . lol I was reading somewhere of late and the Purchase Cd version can be altered so the play cd can be run from the PC re installed onto it which is what I thought I maybe downloading. Bugger! Thanks for the effort people and it looks like a trip to the shop for me,

You could get the full verison and party with your son and you can do the quests together and etc. Since he is probably at a higher level he could get you through the acts.

Dont play single player its alot better on battlenet if you just want to play by yourself create a game and use a random name and password. When you start you want to level up some you can find some turtorials online to help you level up and what skills and character traits to add points too.. and doing some of the quests.

Also find the map hack that should help and everyone on bnet uses it.
