We have upgraded our key engine to prevent rouge beta clients and sharman networks from using the application. So due to this everyone must sign up for beta testing and get a unique key. We are taking 300 beta tester applicants.

Me too! got my key and everything , I can't wait to try this, mostly I did this because of the look of the prog, it started up faster then kazaa or kazaalite ever did for me, the interface looked like kazaa, but for some reason my screen reader never got lost between start and my media [I literaly sat there for 10 minutes making sure ti would never happen] and I'm very happy that its turning out that way! As soon as this goes public, I'm recondmending this prog to all my friends!

do you have to have received an email sayin ur a beta tester?? i applied but no reply. i have a key tho. aaaaarggggggh im confused its too early in da mornin!

EDIT: does this mean im in:

nasrules,
You have been selected as a participant in the ProjectFastTrack beta test. Your unique key for the beta application is: [KEY HERE]. This key is only good for [MY EMAIL HERE], distribution of this key will invalidate it and remove you from this beta test. This is to ensure the highest of quality and control during the beta period.

I don't know when we'll get it, but I think your in, that's strange that you didn't get a key in your email, o well, save the info in a text file and come back to it when you need it, I think your in, but its strange, I used my msn addy when signing up, and the email came almost instantaniusly.

Now, this is getting wierd, 2 ppl with the same problem, if you got a key on the page after you submited the form, your in, but hopefully you saved that info from the page, again its funny that you guys didn't get a email, maybe your email is messed??? if posible, check it from the web, if your using a pop3 acount. I can't help you with that, since I use hot mail as my primary email addy, so that's the only one I know how to use, [I get no junk mail ??? no reason why!]

No actually now that you mentioned it.. I got the key when i signed up on the page and than they said they sent me an email and i got one.. the same as nasrules and everybody else.. with the key etc.. so ya im in.. now we just have to wait for the program to be sent to us. =)

of course anyone signing up could be from kazaa and you'd never know

might as well go public so that people can get some files before kazaa kills you

anyone can fill out the form on the website
it's pretty much anonymous

therefore a kazaa programmer could fill out the form, get a copy, rip it apart, find out how it works, and make a kazaa 2,03 to block it

their whole reason for "private beta" is to keep kazaa from getting it but there is no way to prevent it really

I wondered about that, but I'm not gonna complain, I'd like to try it anyway

Btw, serrebi101, the reason it started up faster than kazaa, is because its only a GUI, it doesnt connect to anything yet, most of the core components wern't even included in that release

And nasrules, I got that to man, just wait it out a few days, there will be an announcement by glitch on the news page (I'm pretty sure he will anyway, he allways does that kind of stuff)
