This was submitted as news by dmorgan89 but because I don't think it belongs as news, I'm posting it here instead (hope you don't mind).
"This is a new program that enables you to preview downloading and downloaded Pictures. At the moment it supports .bmp, .jpg, .gif, and .dat. It's made by Jock Whiteside and you can get it here (http://www.zeropaid.com/php/admin/www.kazaaslittlehelper.orcon.net.nz/files/Kazaa%20Picture%20Preview.exe)"

exactly...I could care less if I can see the picture a whole 20k before it finishes, the only use i could see is if you get cut off in the middle of a pic download....but even thats dumb

i don't really see much of a use for this. only 1 i can think of is for ppl who want to check the picture that they think they are downloading is actually what the file is. give the creator credit though he did make AutoSearchMore and that is one sweet program:fire

the only way you can see a picture is by downloading it
picture files are so small that they download in less time than it takes to blink
therefore a "picture preview" is an oxymoron--like "military intelligence" or "jumbo shrimp"

Mmmh, this IS pretty useless. But sometimes you are downloading a high res picture off someone with 56k... Supose the picture is a 1600x1200 wallpaper... and its 600k. It takes a few minutes to download, and therefpre this program Can be usefull... But most of the time a picture is downloaded in less than a second, or under 10 seconds...
I guess people who donwload loads of wallpapers through kazaa might find it usefull...
