Hey everyone,

I am using a computer with admin and other users accounts. I don't have to password for logging in as admin and I am trying to copy pretty large files (around 12 Gb) onto my external hard disk. The problem is that the folder containing those files is read-only and when i try to change the read-only access it automatically reverts to Read Only.
Is there any way I can copy this files to my hard disk without needing admin privileges?? Sharing is also not possible since I can't install any kind of program on this computer....
HELP PLEASE!
Thanks in advance!

more spam bullshit

bleh, this shit has no answer...

as for aqualover, why don't you just ask the admin of that PC? chances are, you're doing something you're not supposed to do. luckily i don't have a conscience so get yourself a copy of active password changer (http://www.password-changer.com/) or better yet, download hiren's boot cd (AIO toolbox including APC).

of course, if your admin is really upto speed, you're banging your head up against a brick wall.

Huh? What do you mean? You are a mod, so why can't you nuke spammers?

Well...you sort of can. I have found in my experience, and pooter will agree, all IP addresses beginning with 222.xxx.xxx.xx are spammers. I have not found one to be anything other, so I ban them before they can create their first thread. It does give me great pleasure to do so. I wish we could ban the entire IP range. That would save a lot of trouble. I'd be interested to know if there's more IP's like this.

yeah, i've been doing a lot of preemptive banning just in that range alone.

Hey thanks for your answer.
What I am doing is not illegal it's just that this computer doesn't let you copy movies to another computer....
I'll go ask the admin for the password.
Thanks again!
