Sorry to sound like Krell and his Sci/Tech forum...wait, I didn't sound like Krell at all. Krell would have said to get the Hell out of his forum with that rubbish!
:bling1:
I wish, since I think I do the most posting about films here at ZP, that we members could keep this forum open for movie talk and not a bunch of mish mash BS like posts about Forklifts and such. That is probably a Lounge subject. I mean no offense to the posters that contribute content. Not one bit...but the movie forum is getting cluttered up. This is just a request so do as you will...its up to us to keep the forums looking nice. Thats why I keep the talk about my nuts confined to the lounge-----mostly.
District 9 looks like it kicked some ass like I knew it would! I meant to go see it today but I goofed off here on the net for too long and missed my window. Maybe next week or perhaps Sunday!!!!!! :trink26:

Oh come on mels, you only wish you could catch a laptop with your butt.
fuck yeah!
I want to go see District 9 too but life is fixing to get busy for me again where I won't have time to go see it anytime soon. If you see it don't give it away without a spoiler alert!

I doubt it will ever be "all" about the movies, now will it? There's bound to be another "Do you shit in the shower" thread.

Movies
The art of the motion picture
Now, one presumes, by that definition, that it refers to all "movies" long and short. It's actually more the forum description that pretty much said to me that one can contribute short clips for entertainment. I would even go so far as to say it's technically allowable to post animated GIF files here because motion picture suggests moving picture.
I'm betting that this forum would be pretty dead without people posting YouTube and streaming clips anyway, so, by those two reasons, I felt that it was allowable to post streaming clips here. All this unless the description changes of course to exclude such clips.

C'mon mels, pull that stick out of your ass and wash that sand out of your vag. You can't expect to have a whole forum section dedicated to two threads. The "Watch List" and "Recently Watched" threads are more than enough to cover 90% of all movie related topics. Arguably, you could moved those threads to a general discussion thread because movies fall under that heading.
I do agree that things should be well organized when there is no reason not to, but it's not like we are discussing fall fashions in the movie section. What is being posted there is still relevant to the forum topic.

I see you took offense to my post...sorry. I appreciate your contributions to ZP and my post is merely a request. Gif classified as a movie? Your definitions are very loose sir! lol I guess anything could be a TV show too if its viewed on a TV. I am also amazed at how many movies ZP hosts under the "Smillies" banner! The plot of the "bukkake" smillie is riveting! Just kidding.
Do what ever you want. No one really cares about my movie posts anyway and I gave up a long time ago.

Wasn't really taking offense to your post. I was just rationalising the posts I've been making.
I also hope I didn't come across as "my posts are better than your posts" kind of thing as that wasn't my intention.
Yeah, I have a fairly loose definition on a lot of things. When you get to dealing with some of the criticism of your writing, it's often just easy to have loose definitions - makes winning arguments easier.
I don't mind you sharing stuff personally. In fact, I wish more people would share interesting stuff on the forums. Clutter isn't such a bad thing for me personally, but then again, I probably contribute to it a lot.
Personally, I don't post to try and make people care, I post because I care (if that makes any sense)

I just read that District 9 was made for 30 million!! Peter JAckson must really know how to stretch a dollar! Well, for one thing he did not hire one single [ over paid/rated] Hollywood movie star. Peter took a page out of George Lucass' playbook ( which Lucass must have lost a long time ago!) and turned in an awesome movie or so I have heard. I think having unknown people in a film can make it much more believable.

There's only a shit cam version kicking around right now, if I'm not mistaken. I'm surprised you'd stoop to watching a crappy cam copy. I thought you were better, Mels.

That night I want to see The Final Destination 3D but do not know it I will mkae it. Friday is the only day and night I have time for myself to do what I want so I want to see all these manly movies while I can!

Sounds like someone is going to go through a lot of popcorn. I usually have had enough going through the first movie... not that I would know these days since it's been years since I stepped into a theatre.

There is finally a very NICE copy of Inglorious Basterds on the market with fully hard coded subs in English! Very NICE too. Not as nice and AMAZING as the beautifully shot movie when seen on the big screen in full resolution but this will do until a Blu Ray release happens!
This is a very good movie but it may not be the action flick the TV ads make you believe it to be. Its mostly drama with a smattering of bloody violence here and there. Enjoy!
