A new web service, hid.im, will encode a torrent into a PNG image file, allowing it to be shared easily through forums or image hosting sites.

At first I said "Why?" but then I just realized how bad ass that is. I could set my avatar to track the torrents I'm seeding.

don't think they will want to take up the battle stations but there are other sites.
