Okay, i may be generally new but, i do know a few things about computers. I program as a hobbie. I recently in the last two months got fedora 10, about a week ago i ran out of disk space on my laptop and i use it to generally download and then watch whatever movies i downloaded, on my xbox, hence it is on my windows laptop. So, i came up with a clever program and a clever system. I store the files on my fedora 10 computer and download them from that comp, and then i file share to the laptop...

Unfortunetly SELinux got in the way so i editted the config file and disabled it permanently (or at least till i enable it) this is because it blocked windows. I installed and configured samba, however, just as a file is downloading and pasting to my laptop it screws up, the fedora disconnects from the internet and won't reconnect unless i reboot...

I am using a WGv111 Wireless Netgear usb dongle, a Netgear router. Windows vista, all usernames and passwords are the same on both computers and file sharing programs. I do not use fedora while i have the program download the file and i have mapped the network drive for my fedora machine... I so far have not found any help on this topic however. Why is fedora disconnecting and never reconnecting? and how can i fix it permanently?
