The movie Land of the Lost (2009) was released and it was one of my favorite movies the movie was filled with lost world attraction and the kids are love to watch these kind of adventure movies we have seen this movie and it was one of the best movies around and I was really amazed with this movie it was a movie with lot of adventures really making kids wild

For reals yo! I think I feel asleep too. I know I had to fight going to sleep for most of the movie. I can't believe it was so awful. I thought it would be at least a little funny but I think there was like ONE scene that was funny and that was the huge bug bite scene with the banjo. GOD! How could they release this film in this state? It needed re-working badly. It makes me wonder if they used a focus group on this film. If they did they all must have been weed smoking retards because this film is the worst I have seen in a long time. I even like some of the bad comedies because they are silly but this movie had no jokes at all...hardly. It relied on Will saying some off the wall one liner when something bad happened. STUPID FILM and a real disappointment on the highest level. It should win worst film of 2009 with ease :worried:

SPOILERS AHEAD! AS IF ANYONE GIVES A SHIT!!!

The Dino kept chasing Will on and off. Then this one Sleestac named Enoc or something showed up and tricked them into helping him stop this other sleestac that was trying to harm enoc for some reason. Well it turns out Enoc had tricked them and the othjer sleestac was the good guy and enoc was going to use Will time travel invention to go back to our Earth time and take over the world. Then Will gets eatin by the Dino and it looks like the movie is over but the DIno poops him out and suddenly they are friends? With the help of the Dino they kill most of the sleestacs and save the day. The other dood does not get to make it back through the portal with Will and has to stay behind in the land of the lost. He made the choice to stay behind...I am not sure why he didnt jump through with them but there was some flimsy reason. Well the Cha ka had told them that the females of the lost were ugly compared to Holly, who was FINE as HELL, but at the end the movie character Will comes upon the HUGe village of Cha Ka's people and all the gilrs are FINE AS FUCK! He is like a king and all the girls want him. Will Farells character Marshal writes a book with a funny title...end of movie. SUCK SUCK AND MORE SUCK!

I never heard of the TV series Land Of The Lost, but I see that former NBA star Bill Laimbeer was a Sleestak while in high school. :bigeyes2:

I can't believe you guys didn't see that show...oh wait, Im OLD! When Saturday morning meant cartoons, GREAT CARTOONS, The Lost was a great live action show for us kids. I loved it. I wish kids today had Saturday morning toons like we had them. Every channel, all 3 or 4 of them, had cartoons on till about 1PM and then some stations would show sports and CBS would start showing movies all afternoon. Usually Tarzan would come on first. I loved those old movies too.

Today kids don't know how special a treat cartoons were because they can have them all the time and that really spoils how fun Saturday was back then...at least to my generation.


Back to this stupid movie...DONT WATCH IT! Its not even worth a download! I would spit on Will Farrell if I saw him today. That show did not have any cowbell at all!

The TV series was created by Sid and Marty Croft. They also created another live action kids show before Land of the Lost.
It was an even bigger stinkfeast call Sigmun The Sea Monster. He had a witch that was out to get him called Witchy Poo. My kid brother was glued to the TV when it was on.

Im a HUGE Sid and Marty Croft fan. They had tons of live action shows. Far out Space Nuts was a cool one. The Lost Saucer was one I loved too. Bigfoot and Wonderboy, Shazam, Isis!!! All COOL!

Okay, I know I have RANTED on how bad this movie is but I was just viewing it at home only to remember how shitty it was when I saw it at the theater and I noticed just how careless the director was when he made this film. He really did not give a shit at all. In the FIRST scene where Will Ferell, who plays Dr Rick Marshall, is talking to the reporter Matt Lauer and Matt actually addresses Will as "Will" when he says "are you smoking Will?" That is so sloppy its unforgivable! Its in the first few minutes of the film! That is how completely SHITTY this film was made! Someone should be SUED for how shitty it is!

Every now and then I MUST return to this thread just to say how SHITTY Land of the Lost turned out. One of my favorite early Saturday morning shows turned into butt mud right before my eyes. I could choke everyone involved.

Now Will Ferrel has made the MOST OVER PAID actors list and rightfully so. I think he could be an ace TV star but all but about two of his movies, "Blades of Glory" and "Ricky Bobby" have been half ass pieces of shit. SOme movies like Step Brothers pass as okay simply because the charisma of the actors pulled it together and a damn fine director stitched the oddball quirky ad lib's together to make it fly....but just barely. Will, get it together bud or its OVER! Be very carefull who you work with and be picky when it comes to scripts or...go back to TV where I think you could have a very long career. I know you read this forum so take my advice and stop being such a BOOBIE HEAD! Even Danny McBride is gaining more popularity then you and he is a HUGE DOUCHE NOZZLE!
