why it happens?

When your connection is reset by a peer, that means that you got cut off from them by them. It's kinda rude, but some people are STINGY BASTARDS. lol

it doesn't mean they cut you off...

disconnected means they cut you off.

connection reset by peer means they set their timeouts lower than yours, so it cut your attempt.

I see it alot oN MIRC, people leaving, i would imagine they closed their computer or browser up. anyways.. ITs always their side of the network thats fu#*ed up =)

It means that you have lost the connection to the other person your downloading from which could be because of a variety of reasons. Their internet when down, or they closed the program are a few reasons.

It does not mean that they cut you off on purpose or anything like that which the name kind of suggests. So dont message and yell at them because its really not their doing.

I have read the answers to the question connection reset by peer . I have the same problem on some of my uploads and downloads .I want everyone to know that I do not cut people off when downloading from me unless I have a power failure , and I was talking to the person I was downloading from , and he asured me he did not cut me off . When I have got cut off before , it would show disconnected . We are not all butt heads when you lose connection with your download . I'm still working on this problem.
