U.S. TV networks Fox and ABC have unveiled details of their upcoming schedules, with Fox executives favouring consistency and ABC enlisting familiar television faces.

Fox's American Idol remains North American TV's top show and the network will shift the also popular So You Think You Can Dance from a summer spot to autumn in an Idol-like slot.

Other returning titles include sci-fi hit Fringe, counterterrorism thriller 24 and the flailing but heavily promoted Dollhouse, detective shows Bones and Lie to Me, medical drama House, sitcom 'Til Death and Gordon Ramsay programs Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. In the animated realm, The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad will be joined by spinoff The Cleveland Show.

Wow, they really outdid themselves this time. Two whole shows that actually sounds remotely interesting - one of which I was thinking of watching, but never really got around to it.

As for the new lineup... sounds :lame: to me.

I think the movies have been having record sales because there is NOTHING on network tv but bullshit like American Idol. Network TV is PURE BULLSHIT! I hope they get back to quality programing.

Jimmy Kimmel lost his mind and had something to say about it.

Does Jim have a brain tumor? Did the monkey get mad? Jimmy has been very lucky to get where he has since he has no talent other than being able to grin and talk. Now he seems to find his job beneath him? He spoke his mind and that is great, I guess, but since he works for ABC he deserves to be fired. Hire me to be the new monkey and I will say what they want to hear! Its awesome when somebody who never deserved any of the fame they received suddenly burns down their house and kicks their boss in the nuts. Next year we will see Jimmy doing late night infomercials for K-Tell Records hits of the 70's. Youre gonna love Jimmy's NUTS!

K-Tell is a Winnipeg company, and since they are from Winnipeg their budget is much much lower than Jimmy. The budget would not even buy them William Hung, or that guy that cried over Britney on youtube.
