Hey, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Anywho, IE & Mozilla have been all screwy lately whenever I try to download something off the internet. They always display this kind of dialog box. Also, I think it has something to do with the Shell Integration of Norton AntiVirus, because when they get all screwy like this I lose the ability to right-click on something and chose "Scan With Norton", but when I get that option back, the downloads start to work fine again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

they don't display the bar when you open them from the location, try too save the file to a location then you will see the bar. but as for the norton thing i have no clue, maybe i different problem alltogether, try updating norton too 2003, maybe that'll fix your problem

Ummm, it's not only the bar thats the porblem, it's also the fact that it can't tell how big the file is and how much time is left. I ALWAYS save the files to a location, I save it to "C:\Program Files\New Folder" And I know it's not because I save it there because even when I try a different location it's like that too. Oh, And I already have the lastest version of Norton.
