Well Google, of course, is a different animal as well. Its a web crawler where as the tracker sites like the Pirate Bay are Websites. Google allows us to find the illegal content without actually hosting the essential files to facilitate a BT files exchange. That pretty much clear Google from any liability but I could see a day when search engines like Google are made to filter out web sites like torrent trackers as the policing of the internet is bound to happen sooner rather than later. Us terrorist have to be monitored ya know.

I think if people put a little mind juice to action they could figure out a way to make sites like the Bay once removed from the torrent files, perhaps even making Google host them in some manner. I dunno...
