I have been using Lopster (http://lopster.sourceforge.net/), an opennap client for GTK Linux. From all other Opennap clients I have tried, it seems to be the best, but is not listed in the software list in Zeropaid.com. Has anyone tryed it? Is it safe (i.e., no hidden spyware)?

Hey guys,
I'm just wondering what the big deal about SpyWare is. Personally when i'm using a file sharing program im not doing anything else at the same time as my bandwith is consumed so i'm not bothered about hidden programs using my resources.
Also im not bothered about the Law watching what im doing, cause let's face it, download a copy of windows off the net or porn or anything else is pretty small.
Firsty let me point out a few factors, 1) your downloading for personal use, not selling it on so your not making money from it, therefore its not classed as a major crime.
2)there are literally millions of users out there doing illegal stuff the chance that someone is actually sniffing your connection is slim.
3)the length the Law would have to do to get you to trial is quite tremendous. I'm from England so say the FBI were giving me shit theyd have to send a request to the English government to get me deported. This could take months and a lot of money and I wouldnt even go prison for what I done so they just wuoldnt bother.
Perhaps im wrong with my perception on spyware etc so maybe someone could give me a larger insight.
Thats all for know =D
