View Full Version : Remot Images File Sizes For Avatars need to be bigger!

It's not like the images are stored on Zeropaid's severs or anything. I mean, 100x100 or 97KB?!?!? Thats a bit ridonkulous. I thought I might as well post in the Site Feedback section since that is what it is there for. Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

Hath, the total amount of space that is allocated to avatar (97 kB) is purely out of economic reasons. It saves on the total monthly bandwidth usage that Jorge pays. A lot of places usually reserve about 100 kB for member's avatar.

But it doesn't reside on Zeropaid's servers though. I can understand the limit on locally hosted stuff, but not remotely hosted stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, images on a remote host are uploaded on to the ZeroPaid server. So in actuality, the images on remote servers don't really matter much because they are put onto the ZeroPaid server regardless of origin.
I will, however, agree that I find the file size limit annoying. I've had to edit my original avatar and delete a couple end frames so it can fit the size restriction.

Here here, I demand some HD avatar goodness. Anything smaller than 1920 X 1080 is unacceptable.

lol! Let's not get too crazy there. :P
I'm complaining against file size limit a little, not the pixel size. Besides, I hate those forums where people have wall-paper sized avatars. Darn near impossible to read the forums that way.

Ive always wished for more avatar space. Its hard to express my genius with a 97k avatar. At least increase the size for me because I am Mels!
