I wish to setup my own private torrent tracker site though I know about nothing about that lol

Can anyone recommend any guides to the best software to use and how to set it up?

You need a few things, a host, a tracker script, a server to upload and seed torrents from and a lot of time and patience.

Get a small VPS to start with, install the tracker script on it. The host can help you get set up Im sure.
Then get a dedicated server for seedbox and start making uploads.

While you make the tracker you learn how to make it, fun and educational!
