Powerpoint??

My daughter wanted Powerpoint on our home computer(they use it at her school).I looked it up and it's kind of pricey so I thought I'd try getting it off of KazaaLite.All I can find is MicrosoftOffice when I do a search. Can I get just Powerpoint without getting a new OS? And will it work with xpHome? Any help or suggestions for a computer dummy?:upside

LOL how ironic.....I was gonna post the same thing cuz I'm gonna need to eventually d/l Powerpoint to work on my presentation off campus. Have u tried using Kaza++? I'm not sure if that will help or not. I, myself, have been trying to get my hands on but sumthin was wrong w/ the d/l. Someone needs to help these 2 lost souls....LOL. A sig2dat would be very helpful. Thank you everyone.

This is totally hypothetical cos downloading copyrighted stuff isn't allowed.

But if it was, I would download office and when you come to install it you have options about which program/s you would like to install... just choose the powerpoint option. if you happen to need word, or excel then theres a bonus!!

there is no reason for you to get a new OS, win 95 would most likely work....

I would do as etnies said, download office, then only install what you want, PPT does not come seperate that I know of

if you want a link, try http://peerweb.tk/ , then go to the software section, scroll down......and there ya go (but you didnt hear it from me, because warez is not allowed on ZP, just for future reference...)

here is a sig for xp office pro...it's in iso format so just burn it to cd, and it is self starting. just choose custom install and x out everything you don't want and just leave powerpoint on there to install. Fully functional and no key/serial required!

Jolton, while I appreciate your link, it is against the forum rules to post warez links, I think that rule applys here

Either you delete your post, or seph will and close the thread, I would suggest deleting the link, its less work for seph

Dude, he knows this already. LMFAO He just likes to share 'em. He removed the last few so you don't have to go acting like a iron fist. Anyway, Jolton leave it up for a little while then remove it so this thread/your post doesn't get deleted/closed/edited.

Does office come with a Word Perfect 10 import filter? Or something along those lines.

If you use office update, you can download a couple thousand filters, I did at one time, never used em, but I bet they would have one

and sorry bout bein an iron fist, I just think its in the better intrest of this thread to NOT post warez (although its currently downloading...hehe)

OK i may be an idiot or whatever but I haven't used a sig2dat in a long time. When I use it and copy to the clipboard the dat file appears in there. And I restart Kazaa and there it is in the transfers window BUT theres no name for it and I don't know how to do that. Well actually there is a name but it is a DAT file name. I think that is the reason it is having trouble finding sources. What should I do? Thanks

hmm, sounds like you copied a field wrong, or it was in the wrong format, if it was a link, just click it, if it wasnt, then try to find another example of a WORKING link, and make sure they are laid out the same

ahhhhh, before or after he modified the name? he changed it so we wouldnt have a warez link, not sure what the original file name was, or if that has anything to do with it, but that would be my guess
