P2P book (repost at end of long thread)

After getting help from other forum members on the topic
" basic book about p2p " this comment was posted at the end of the thread. Since this is an old thread and interested parties
may not catch it I am submitting this as a "new thread"

p2p book "Cracking the Code"
Just out of interest. There is a p2p source book which is
highly highly rated on Amazon.com. The book is titled "P2P
Networks: Cracking the Code"
This book although highly rated is a book mainly for programers. 98 % of the book is dedicated to rather complex programming (?).
If you are not a computer programmer this book is a waste
of time and money to you.
There are about 5 pages explaining the basics of p2p networks. However even this is a bit tedious and boring to non-programmers. Some people have children others have programmers.
You will get a better explanation from the sites referred to in this and other threads on the subject in this forum. Thanks again.
The book does come with a Cd with an e-book. Who knows what an industrious person could find by looking,

I see nothing wrong with educating yourself in this manner you can somewhat learn concepts of how programs and such function this way and do it while having fun and at your own pace too :P
