Is there a good torrent site with a VCD section?
I've seen sites with KVCD sections but no VCD sections.
Yes I know DVD is better quality than VCD :icon_prof

I just add "VCD" to the search terms.
It usually gets results on all the public trackers.

You could make your own from DVD ISOs / originals and a decent VCD / MPEG Encoder.

If you do a search for vcd, fulldls.com shows up a whole bunch.

You could spend $15 bucks and buy yourself a dvd burner.

Sometimes people don't care about the quality, they just want the movie in as small a size as possible. Personally this is how I look for movies. Anything VHS quality works for me.

Exactly I really can't tell the difference all that much I mostly buy DVDs cheap from the bargain bin for the Extra Features, deleted scenes, directors commentary.

I dont understand this at all.. VCD's may not play in all dvd players, may be LOW byte rate, maybe no 5.1 channel sound, possibly if the movie is long it be split to TWO CD's if you burn them. DVD's are cheap to buy, and if you cant see quality. Then you obviously just need to go to a garage sale and pick up a black and white 19 inch tv from the 50's. Im glad the scene stopped doing VCD's. Just download xvids, if you know the source you can get quality and under 703megs.

Well I understood the question more as in getting vcd quality video, not getting it in vcd format. But I guess I could be mistaken in that assumption. Like a movie in 640*480 x264 is going to be a very small file to download, making it convenient if you just want something to watch within half an hour.

Then I still don't understand why you wouldn't go with kvcd then. Better quality than a vcd and still fits on a cdr and plays in more players.
