napster help

Ok.... I know that the napster servers have been shutdown and all, but i wanna use napigator to so i can start using napster again. I need help. I installed everything i had to, and now im stuck. I copied the napster.reg thing and saved it into the napster folder, but nothing happens.

I Really Need Help With This

If you can help, guide me through everything you know from saving napster.reg and after... I don't know what to do. It won't work

Um homeya....you might wanna lay off the weed for a bit. While Napster maybe dead, I do believe you can still log on to Napigator by using OpenNap. But WHY!!!!??? It's extreamly hard to log on to due to it's limit in size (overcrowded networks). Keep in mind that even if you are able to connect with Napigator with OpenNap, you can only connect to 1 server at a time. Where as with WinMX, you are able to connect with several at once. double click the .reg file, and click yes... but you can screw things up if the registry file isn't doing what you think it's suppose to do. you can delete the reg file after.

simple solution. get kazaa lite or shareaza or emule. problem solved.

Please give it up Napster is dead and open nap might as well be too. There are much better newer methods avaible and many more areas to make progress..

So let go allready and move on. There will never be another napster because there is as i said much better and advanced methods today and anyone who tried to create a centralized file sharing network would get sued and shut down just like napster.

Well if you really want to use opennap then I suggest using Xnap. http://xnap.sf.net

I tired Napigator with Napster. It sucks becouse its not multi-source and nothing works. You don't even get good search results. So unless you want old memorys of Napster. I don't think you want this.

I would recommend using emule.By updating the list you can get a whole load of different servers to chose from. I found that with Napigator, even if you can log into a server your downloads are quede 100s down the line.
