hey guys i got some questions for anyone wanting to answer them.
well im on demonoid and im a newbie at this.
so when i first started to d/l i didnt know about the whole ratio thing until my friend told me about it. so now im trying to get a good ratio, cuz well its a bummer taking and not giving anything back ya know?

so how exactly do i upload torrents onto demonoid. says i got the wrong demonoid tracker address, im using vuze (azureus) to create my torrent, but having problems uploading em. also is it better or faster to create your own torrents and upload em or should u just d/l something than just let it upload itself once its done?

I can't fully answer your question but I will give you a little trick that will help. Find a very popular torrent that has several files. Pick a a small file out of the torrent and only download that one file. You can pick and choose with most torrent clients, I use Utorrent. When that file finishes just keep seeding it for as long as you like! Works best with very large torrents with many files.

My ratio is getting too low, am I going to be banned?
The ratio system is purely statistical and somewhat innacurate for the ones with shared or dynamic ips. Besides what other users may think of you for not sharing, there is no punishment for having a low ratio.

They are online, just experiencing server overload. Apparently they are working at getting a couple new servers to resolve the issue.
