recently intel announced that its gonna launch a multi core completly programmable graphics processing unit(gpu).although it will support directx and opengl apis i dont think intel is going to follow the everpresent directx api and would likely to develop its own api .if that happens ,that would mean an api other than diretx on windows!hmmm idont think bill would like that!!
