Is it just me or does the Canadian Newegg's prices suck wet farts out of dead seagulls?

I went there looking for a 750 GB or 1 TB external drive. Their prices are higher than the local retail shop (Futureshop).

Looks about 30 bucks more expensive then the usa store, which seems about right. Don't you cunucks always pay more for stuff up there?

The standard devience is about 80 cents to the US dollar in businesses.

It was nice when the dollar was on par with the American dollar. Will happen again eventually. The thing that pisses allot of Canadians off is the premium we pay for being a smaller market. Generally we pay 1.3 to 1.4 times the American price.

It's actually a tax the rest of the world imposes for having to say "loonie".

If you don't like Loonie, how do you like saying Twoonie? What else would you call the dollar coin?

I expect the retail stores to offer some very good deals soon. I imagine the electronic industry will give them some HUGE discounts in order to try and keep them in business while online prices will likley go up sharply. Thats just my opinion...I am not expert fo sho

I still haven't found a decent external drive. I would like a TB minimum for under $180. My friend bought one on sale a while back for $169 and I kick myself for not getting one then.
