Was pondering the other day the ideas of how human life originated. Under evolution our closest ancestor is an ape, and we started out as goop. With creationism we are the engineering work of some alien life form, with no larger significance to the universe than a robot. You could share the view that we don't exists at all, but are just the product of our own belief in our existence. Finally, is it possibly we simply materialize out of thin air, with the first human confused as fuck as to what just happened.

I like the Adam and Eve theory the best.... First came Adam, then God ripped a hole in Adams chest for his rib. God made Eve out of it. Then Eve was naughty, So Adam had to fuck his own blood (relative)? and their kids had to fuck each other, so they can have kids that fucked all the other relative and so on and so on

HEY we are KIN FUCKERS everybody....

Edit: I'm sorry LORD please for give me

Everyone is just part of this really huge dream I am having. I am some sort of alien life form dreaming that I am human and visiting a website called zeropaid so that I fulfill all my file sharing fantasy's .

I read somewhere once that the universe is a gigantic experiment that we have little control over.

I always loved this Moody Blues tune.

In The Beginning

First man: I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.

Establishment: of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles
Of files
Pretty files of your forefathers fruit
And now to suit our
Great computer,
You're magnetic ink.

First man: I'm more than that, I know I am, at least, I think I must be.

Inner man: there you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
That you perceive
The web they weave
And keep on thinking free.

Yet has the nads to call himself a god.

I was fortunate enough to see them last year. They were great, but I wish Ray Thomas had been with them. Though an awesome concert, it just wasn't quite the same without him.

Damn straight, and come January I will have been working 24/7 on this creation for 52 yrs without a day off.

The other guy threw a bunch of stuff together for 6 days, got bored, said "to hell with it I need a beer break", and he never came back.

I was a little more lucky about ten 15 yrs back. They where at the Lakeland Civi Center just outside of Tampa, and it was one of their second year having the full orchestra with them.

Here is the real kicker Rack, there first song was "The Dream."

The ever evolving morals.

I heard a guy on talk radio talking about the gay marriage thing. He thought it was wrong and should always stay illegal. He rationalized that marriage has always been a man and a woman and should stay that way since thats the way its always been. I wanted to call in so bad but could not because I was at work. I wanted to ask should it be okay to marry my cousin because people use to do that all the time. Why did it change? Girls use to get married off when they were 13 because they were old enough to breed. Why did it change? Who decided what was right? Who made the magic number 18 for rape? Young people have been fucking forever. I don't understand these mandated morals on these subjects.

Please discuss

Was that guy calling in from Utah? Against gay marriage, but probably lusts after a 15 year old her parents are handing over because of some fucked up perverted cult *cough*, I mean "religious" beliefs.

Hurry up and pass the cyanide punch around, why don't ya?

I recall one of my science teachers saying that human beings exist because there was a violation of the law of thermodynamics somewhere along the line of the history of the universe. That's his theory, not mine though, but it sounds great. We are all a violation.

Strange, what the hell do the laws of thermodynamics have to do with our origin. Apparently there may be some basis for it tho http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_of_thermodynamics#Tentative_fourth_laws_or_pr inciples

The creation by inteligent design love to try and use laws of thermodynamics to try and prove away evolution.

They they take a lot of liberties with mathematical formulas to the point that they become metaphor.

Here is a little better discription of creationist attempt at using pseudo science to prove there point.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/thermo/creationism.html

Oh, and anothe big ploy to try and put credibility to there mixture of science with magic, using someone with a Dr. or Prof. as a source.

Prof. Suchandsuch who holds a doctoret in science, says that evolution can not happen because his research shows that a breakdown of chemicle blah blah blah blah.
Well if Prof. Suchandsuch is a sceintist he must know what he is talking about and must be right.
Wrong, Prof. Suchandsuch does hold a doctorate in science, but it is in the field of Audiology, the science of hearing.
So you have a audiologist tell people that his chemistry research shows that evolution could not have happened.
That is the same as a proctologist making a supposed scientific statement of fact in the field of astronomy. His research proves that the sun goes around the earth.

Please, religion has for years tried to prove science is wrong about everything that conflicts with it.
Religion now is trying to use the tactic of fighting fire with fire. In other words they are trying to use science to prove it is right.
The problem is they are trying to mix selected scientific facts with factless non-scientific personal beliefs. Then it is past it off as statement of accurate scientific fact.

YOU CAN POUR A WHOLE BOTTLE OF FRENCH PERFUME ON A PILE OF BULL SHIT AND MAKE IT SMELL BETTER.
BUT IT IS STILL BULL SHIT

Well I didn't read up on what the cases that are for or against the laws of thermodynamics in evolution. There is however evidence supporting evolution, that lifeforms must naturally fall within certain guidelines to naturally exists, some of which use the law of thermodynamics. So this I would say would actually help bolster evolution as we have another natural phenomenon that guides species. It basically helps us know how much energy a specimen needs to survive, and what kind of mutations are allowed naturally. It basically supports natural selection, as an animal requiring too much energy could not survive.

As for the article you posted, they seem to have taken the law of thermodynamics outside of its context. They are somehow trying to apply enthalpy to the order of chemicals which makes no sense. Enthalpy is simply a measure the dynamics of electrons, or temperature stability.

That is a frightening thought. I wonder when the Universe will correct its mistake? If it doesn't, then what?

Can anything naturally occurring be considered a mistake to begin with? Science is just the study of nature, and models its behavior. So if humans did somehow come to existence by breaking the laws of thermodynamics, which seems strange and disjointed. Then clearly we would simply have to revise our understanding of the laws. But even then, the laws are meant for a specific purpose, and was never meant to model strange occurrences. So any revisions would no disprove the laws of thermodynamics.

I herd the mention of it has been banned from some classrooms. And People have lost their jobs for discussing intelligent design. a former state science curriculum director lost her job last fall for a intelligent design e-mail. Also there was a guy that was fired from Smithsonian for ID. I don't know much about it or if it true, just thought i'd add it in the mix

Ive always had a theory that "strange shit" happens all the time and the Universe always corrects itself given enough time.

You ever lose something but knew exactly where you put it but its just not there? You check it a few times because you know its supposed to be there only to return later after searching the whole house to find its in the first place you looked? This is the Universe correction theory of mine. Its a glitch in the matrix. Eventually the Universe corrects all mistakes.

That is a frightening thought. I wonder when the Universe will correct its mistake? If it doesn't, then what?

First, the universe needs a bailout of 900 trillion Earth years to help stabilize the expanding universe. Failing that, maybe another quadrillion and it'll keep going up by incriments of 100 billion Earth years until the problem resolves... I think we have plenty of time to screw things up in the mean time though.
