Daemon Tools - Mount Downloaded Game

Hey guys.

Complete n00b for mounting, as I only downloaded Daemon Tools as it was a suggestion in a comment for the torrent I downloaded.

I am downloading a game called XXX, in .rar format. I know how to extract all the files (I think!) but have no idea how to get from the files to playing the game.

When I tried last time, I burned the files to a CD, and then ran the autorun file, but it told me I needed to insert the XXX CD.

-- I shall have a go myself, but if anyone could write me a step-by-step tutorial on how to get from .rar file > mounting game > playing game, I would be sooo grateful.

Please learn to use the search function. There are loads of info here and on the web all you have to do is so a search for it. If you are still having troubles after reading those then please post the specific problem back in here.

No problem dude. I realize this search system here is a pain in the but to use but there is a wealth of info here for the searching.

Yeah, no problem. All fixed now, thanks to carpefile's tutorial, and Daemon Tools. Playing now :P
