Is there anyone out there who I contacted about this movie a year or so ago who might be able to help me? I am now having a good ol "redundancy error" message problem and have lost this ultra rare classic. Please PM me with any info you might be able to share.
BTW: Before any asks, I have ran a recovery program on this disc for 48 hours and it still will not read...so its dead.

Could have been a buddy of mine. I requested he look for a copy after I thought I gave him one. Its super fucking rare. Damn Ted Turner pwns it and will not put out a DVD for shit. He played it on TMC a year or two ago and a bootleg was made. I was able to obtain it and posted up a Divx version that is out there but no one shares it. I have about half of it downloaded but I am stuck.
Some people will sell old VHS copies for 50 to 100 bucks. What a rip off. Thats why I posted it publicly and gave it to a few people around P2Pc. Now I get seem to get the love returned.
The movie reminds me a lot of Its A wonderful Life but I think its even better because its sorta creepy in an old movie way.

Well shit. After a few failed attempts at recovering this DVD I tried one more time. I buffed it with Windex for 5 minutes, used CDcheck and did not get one single error!
Thanks for those who tried to help. I am now going to encode a new divx version. Let me know if anyone is interested in this great long lost film.

Mel next time you have a problem like that, try a little Armor All. Works great with some real bad scratchd MP3's I have.
As for your movie I have looked all over and have drawn a complete blank. I love good old Lionel Barrymore myself.

Since you sound like an evangelist for that movie, maybe you should upload it somewhere and post the links everywhere. That way it could be propagated all around. Imagine a world where On Borrowed Time was being downloaded via file dumps, p2p, Usenet, etc and tens of thousands of people were exposed to a lost gem. Your contribution towards making this world a better place. :icon_salu :icon_pira

You can have the DVD version of Xvid. I am re-encoding it yet again because of audio sync problems. This movie sure is a pain in the ass!

Im trying my first x264 conversion. I hope it goes well. I did the xvid but wasnt satisfied completely. Might as well do it right as long as I am doing it again.
