for those of you that are in Australia and some in other countries may know of what is called the pipe network.

in Australia some service providers are part of what is know as the pipe network IINET is one of them.

to my understanding pipe to pipe data transfers wether its iinet to iinet or any pipe enabled internet connection to pipe enabled internet connection doesnt count to your download/upload quota.

what i am trying to find out is how do i check if i am connected to the pipe network and also does anyone know where to find pipe torrent or pipe dc servers

any help would be much appreciated.

Referred to as PPC-1, the cable will deliver a big boost to Australia’s international broadband capacity. The main trunk of the PPC-1 system will be a two-pair fibre cable capable of delivering 1.92 terabits of data per second. It is expected to go live in the second quarter of 2009.

To find out more I'd suggest you to this site http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/ and do a search on the topic
