I've been waiting this game for ages, but now is here and it's amazing!
Have a look here : Fallout 3 at IGN (http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/882/882301.html)

Played a while last night. It was OK. Nothing thrilling though...

I'm wary as it is made by the same people who did oblivion. For all its hype I hated that game.

just played it and its very similar to oblivion. most of the controls are the same. when you duck you can pickpocket people and you can also pick lock almost any door if your pick locking level is high enough. this game also has the same problems oblivion did. the way people interact with you is still fucked up.

Yeah it's not as good as I was expecting.

I've played everyone of them and fell in love with the concept. Very original but... The sad thing is people will be playing the new game not having first played the original and will not appreciate it in its full context.

NPC interaction is my biggest complaint. The dialog and responses are redundant and too linear. For single player games, these companies need to focus less on pretty eye candy and more on convincing characters.

I played it and disliked it. Its like Half life 2 or Silent hill.. Walking around with a baton or a melee instrument isnt too fun. I threw the game out in the trash, it had great graphics but its just too boring.
I guess theres a lot better games that grabbed my attention from it as well.. Playing Gears of War 2, COD 5, Tom Clancy End War, Fable 2, Far Cry 2.

Is the new Silent Hill any good? I was considering buying it through Steam.

I've just finished Fallout 1 and am starting on 2. They're both just brilliant. I can't believe it's taken me so long to get around to playing these :D

Not really good, but then again i only played it for around 6-8 hours and got some what through it. I just hate running around with limited ammo, a dumb melee attack.. I use the knife to stab the zombie type people coming after me and it doesnt appear that my knife touched them and they still get inflicted with damage. Maybe a glitch or they didnt correctly encode silent hill where you actually see your knife touch the ones who are attacking you.

I finished Fallout 3 yesterday. Besides some of the quirky npc interaction, I though it was a great game! My advice: don't just follow the main quest. You'll finish it way too quickly. There's a ton of exploring to do.

Was hoping that this game would of at least been less buggy than Oblivion, but reading reviews it might be even worse. WTF is wrong with companies, stop releasing buggy beta's. It also seems like they haven't improved on the faults of Oblivion, such as the uninspiring interactions, think I'll pass on this game and play Farcry 2 when I have time.

It's not that bad!
Besides, why base a decision on a review site that that probably gets it's funding from game companies and hardware manufacturers? Gamespot for example.. how in the fuck could they have found a single positive thing to say about Manhunt?!

I don't, I look at the user reviews. Combining that with my past experience with the companies games I don't think I'll dedicated my limited time to it. Oblivion was buggy, people are saying this game is just as buggy and that the character interactions are the same.

I think gamespot's review is just a little bit shit
