hey folks,
i just want to know what kind of file is this and how to handle this file?
well i've downloaded a game, which is in this format, so now i am puzzled as it is being opened by VLC media[ however VLC is not playing that file]
so please guide me, i tried to Google it, but landed with no good results as i may be bad at using proper key words. so generously reply, so that i learn what i am doing or downloading...:icon_scra

Burn it to cdr if you have something like nero or roxio.. I think image burner may burn to.. Then put the cd back in the tray and it should load.
Daemon tools light can mount the image as well. VLC is probably set to run bin files in the preference options.

hey shawners, i appreciate the help, but i dont know how to carry put the process, well u might get annoyed.. i really dont know which software i gotta use though i have NERO 8, i mean its a bundle of burning and decoding stuff rite..??
so am sorta confused... plz let me know how am i gonna make use of what i've downloaded..
[its a game, not a movie...]
the help will be appreciated...

In Nero, you should be able to find Burn Image option. Usually, BIN files comes with CUE files which tell the app. how to burn the image on disk. Select the *.cue file to burn the image!

If its a game, you can use daemon tools, once installed. Restart your pc.. Click on daemon tools to run, it shows up in the system tray, then click on it and go to mount image and browse directory to you come across the bin file. click mount. Now if the game doesnt auto run, click on my computer and you will see the image file as a disc tray icon. Click explore and you should see setup or install.exe Their may be a crack folder in there that has the patch or serial number too. Good to open that up and copy and paste the code to activate it.
