Dell d510 notebook problem

When turned on the power light comes on but the screen stays black. Video Card? Anyone know?

Do you hear disk activity, is the disk activity light flashing at all, do you hear any noise, is the fan running?

i hear the the disk for a second then nothing.

Did you by any chance damage it while trying to get your sd card to work? Know I'd be pissed off if an sd card prevented me from making my own porno.

Send it back to Dell to be repair, if still under warranty! Could be the video screen.

Hook up an external monitor to it, see if you see anything... Other then that, I'd take it to a shop to diagnose, or have a techie come over and look at it.
