I popped it in my sandisk vmate and now it will not read it and my notebooks wont either. How can I fix this? Thanks

If the data not too damage, I use a program call Multi Data Rescue. There are some others that can read memory disks to try to recover your data!

I dont need to recover the data I just want to be able to use my card again.

Cards die, its just the nature of the beast. Recover your data and buy a new one. If it is new, return it!
