i've been using bearshare for a few years now and i think its the best P2P out there
but these past few days.. i notice a massive slowdown in my downloads.. what i use to download in 2 hours or less now is taking up 5- 6hrs..
im currently using bearshare lite..

i tried using limewire and my download speed for a 700mb file is around 2 hrs same as what bearshare use to give me..

can anyone relate to this

any tips for another p2p software ?

thank you

There's better alternatives then the Gnutella network for larger files.

BitTorrent and eMule are usually the first choices for people in your position. If you go for eMule, use the peerates whitelist or connect to Kad only.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but BearShare was shut down a few years ago too.
