I was looking for a program to burn DVD's. I found Blaze Media Pro 8.1 (15 day free trial) & it worked great. After the time was up I got an older copy of 8.0 to use. I tried it on a couple of different files (which PLAY fine on my PC). After burning, I found that the disks were video only, there was no audio!
I'm still new to DVD burning, any ideas what might be wrong?
If not, can any one recommend me another DVD burner. I can't seem to find another that does what I want.

Did you try different audio formats when you convert video? I prefer AC-3 Dolby Digital since all stand alone DVD Players support DD!

Not really sure how to. I poked around in the program looking for something that might let me change the audio settings, but wasn't really seeing anything.
In the FAQ I got this:
" 9. I converted a video to another format, but the audio content was not present in the output file. How can I ensure the audio content of video files is included when converting?
This is usually caused by the video file's audio content using a codec that is not supported by the conversion module. Even though it may play properly in Blaze Media Pro, the playback engine's supported codecs are different from that of the conversion module. You will want to ensure you're running the latest version of Blaze Media Pro if you're experiencing this problem since we are always adding support for additional codecs as the software is updated."
But these are files that I've already converted over from avi to mpeg2 using another program

So, what was the program you used to convert AVI to MPEG2? Do you still have the original AVI files?

Been using Any Video Converter. Tried looking around it it for audio options. It does have (under audio):
AAC Parameters: MPEG2 or MPEG4
Object Type: Main, LC, SSR, or LTP
MP3 Parameters: CBR, ABR, VBR-1, VBR-2,VBR-3, VBR-4.
Have no idea what any of these mean.
I do still have the avi files.
Thanks everyone for your help so far. Normally I can figure things out myself, but this is outta my league.

Try MP3 audio codec, as "DVD/Divx players" I've seen does not support new mp4 AAC audio codec yet, even if your software such as converter does, but those players won't!
